What is involved in the Account Manager role?
- Management of existing and growing those existing accounts.
- Development of the Commercial Plan for each customer.
- Work closely with New Product Development and Business Development teams.
- Getting into the detail to add the value and quality ensuring customer retention.
- Working closely with the Development team to understand the detail around product development.
- Regular updates with the Head of Sales on commercial progress re monthly, weekly KPI’s.
- Being in constant contact with the customers and acting on feedback correctly.
Your background needs to include:
- Foodservice commercial experience, with strong account management.
- Existing network in the foodservice sector.
- The relationship skills and credibility to grow current accounts.
- Ambitious with resilience and tenacity.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills, able to devise trends and themes.
